The great blog Where’s My Backpack came up with a fun and unusual Travel Theme of Feet! One could go all over the place with this theme…my feet, animal feet, statute feet, furniture feet, feats of strength…this gives me an excuse to display some of the random photos I have taken while trekking around…
One thing is for sure. Apparently, I have nothing better to do than to take photos of my feet while wandering through the world! I suppose these photos tell a story of their own separate from those that were taken directly of the attraction I was visiting. 🙂
You know I appreciate this theme!

I was thinking of you on your kayak!

It all started with a very tippy hammock in Barbados but it’s become a fun theme

Do you have the WordPress app on your phone?

I do. Was trying to figure it out today while buying tires. Now that I’m home, I forget to look at my phone. But I am taking pictures as I clean my boots

That’s an awesome theme! Love those photos, you get served half the story and have to imagine the second half yourself:)

Thanks. I am glad you enjoyed it. There aren’t many places you can share photos of your feet and have people enjoy it! 😉

I guess it is WordPress and Instagram. Especially Instagram, pictures of feet is always a winner on Instagram for sure! 🙂

Nice collection of photographs for the challenge. Perfect. The forth one looks creepy, fit for some horror story.

Yah. I thought that one was weird too. Kind of abstract or watercolory or something. 😉

Fun pictures. Now the leopard ones might get you into trouble with jaguars in some forests…

Very good point. It may also scare the zebras.

Are there many zebras in Sacramento?
(Other than zebra crossings?)

Pretty much none other than in the Zoo. Although randomly I was driving through the hills along the coast north of San Francisco in an area called Bodega Bay once a few years back while we were there camping. We turned a corner and saw someone’s ranch was full of them. I am not sure if it was a rescue or what the deal was but it was awesome and not expected.

maybe some kind of “African safari park”?

Nope, just someone’s Ranch.

Weird. But then the narcs here have lions, tigers on their estates… I can’t imagine why one would have zebras on their land. Not for “hunting” i hope. 😦
In the wild they are quite beautiful. And they sound funny. Like a bark. A dog bark. Or a whoop.

I suspect someone was either breeding them or it was a rescue. I am hoping it was a rescue.
