Calistoga, in the beautiful Napa Valley, is a glorious place to visit any time of the year. But I cannot wipe the smile off of my face after travelling through the greater Napa valley again this fall. The grape leaves and tree leaves were vibrant and magnificent this year in their yellow, orange, and red hues. Even Amelia, who puts the Bulldog in Bulldogtravels, enjoyed her fall adventure this year.
Lovely smile Amelia! She looks like she’s enjoying it as much as you.

You must be the fastest blogger in the wild wild West. I posted my comment 3:50 your time. Your answered 3:51! Sharpshooter, eh?

I shoot to kill. I have the WordPress app on my smartphone so it alerts me whenever I receive comments! It doesn’t help me concentrate at work very well…

I realize you do shoot to kill. So I am working to stay on your good side. I too have the App on my I-Phone, but many times I mute it. If I’m having a glass of wine at supper for instance…;)

Good thinking. I have been better about that too lately. Still a recovering phone-aholic…

Test question: do you sleep with your phone in the bedroom?

I do only for its alarm clock. But I turn it to airplane mode so it doesn’t go off or disturb or buzz.

Good. I only bring it “upstairs” when I need the alarm mode. Which is not common. Hadn’t thought of the airplane mode. I put it on mute but it still buzzes off. ‘pecially when bloggers from SE Asia comment. 🙂

Airplane mode turns everything off. No alarms are alerts for anything other than the wake up alarm.

I thought of that last night when the bl..dy phone was chirping downstairs with comments by a Hong-Kong friend. But I was too cosy under the blanket to get up, walk down the stairs, etc. I’ll remember tonite

An Indian wedding. That should be lovely. My compliments to the bride and groom, whom I suspect are friends of yours…

Epic is probably a very good one-word summary of India. 🙂
(I was born around there, so I should know…)
Have a lovely week Jenny.

What a gorgeous face! We stayed at Calistoga Ranch a few years ago. What a superb place. 🙂

Thank you. It really is a special place. It’s on the far end of the Napa Valley. It’s a little slower. The food there is good. There’s a few good shops and antique stores. It’s a lovely place to stay and explore the valley from there. I never get tired of going there. This was the first time I took the bulldog though.
