oh yes, I want one too :p The day the delicate arch will break down.. I think I will feel a bit heartbroken. I have good memories over there and it’s such an iconic landmark.
Thankfully it was not that hot there that day. And it was the following day that we were in Bryce and it was very very cold. What a difference elevation can make. I have never seen Aguila monster in the wild. Only in the zoos. As far as I know we don’t have anything like that here in the United States. We do however have some pretty cool lizards.
Fabulous. They used this location for one of the Indiana Jones films. I bet you knew that already!

Natural bridges ~ how not to love them as they complement social bridges in so many ways. Brilliant photos.

Thank you! They are truly amazing. The color, the structure, the history. They will be here long after we are gone I hope!

It would be absolutely awful if anything happened to destroy them.

I often think about the archaeological sites being destroyed in the Middle East by war or ISIS. Sad sad sad.

Me too. It must be devastating for those who love them.

Speechless wednesday?

I can almost feel the heat. Is there a Gila monster around the corner?
(Have you ever seen one?)

Probably best not to meet them in the wild. I hear they’re extremely poisonous.
Have a great week-end, jenny.
