Ireland is definitely a great source of inspiration for you. What lovely pictures Jenny. (Are there wo twins in your family? Brunettes?)
That celtic round thing? Forgot its name. We went there when we visited our Irish friend in Dublin years ago. The circular motif carved on the stone at the entrance is a triskell. We have the same in Brittany.
And the song is lovely. Thanks for the trip.

Ahh yes, they are very similar. It is interesting to look at cave art or ancient art from around the world to see how it differs and how it is similar.

The Cletic civilzation spread from Ireland in the west all the way to central europe, with main spots in Ireland, Wales, Scotland, France and bits of Germany I think. Maybe further East.

I saw evidence of it in Austria when I visited many years ago. I visited a salt mine that the Celts used many years ago. (Don’t remember how many years ago.) There was a very lovely Celtic museum with amazing items in it. Can’t for the life of me remember the name of the town. I need to look that up some day and find my old photos on the subject.

This post touches me on multiple levels. Landscapes, family, war & peace, and the music. I almost wish I had touched “play” on the song first thing, so I could go through the images with this soundtrack. In fact, I’m going to go back to the top and do it again…

I do hope you liked the song. There is something about his voice that has moved me since the first time I heard it. I have never had the opportunity to see him live though. Maybe I need to figure out how to do that.
I tried to get a good mix of photos most of which are my favorites. I was hoping that would come through on the post. 😉
