Hall Winery Napa – When art and architecture overshadow the wine.
On our way to Castello di Amorosa we couldn’t help but notice the giant shining bunny at Hall winery. We.Could.Not.Pass.Up.The.Bunny. What we didn’t expect was a dozen other magnificent pieces of art set in a uber comfortable setting meant for guests to savor the wine, the weather, and the scenery. If only we had more time to stop at the hundreds of wineries in the area…
What’s your favorite part of Napa? Favorite wine or winery?

It’s lovely, especially flowers and wine! ^_^

Looks like a great place to enjoy wine and beautiful scenery! I like wine a lot and I am not choosy in wine. But usually will go buy Malbec, Pinot Noir and Riesling. Is there any specific grapes in Napa?

Good question. I’m not entirely sure but I think there are many varieties because I have had a ton of different varieties from the area.

I have seen in the news a lot lately that the Great Barrier Reef is 90% + bleached. Have you ever been down there? Sounds like a tragedy. I wonder if there is anything that can be done?

Gorgeous place to relax. I particularly like the camel 😊 And I imagine the creepy man statue will freak people out even more after a few of the local beverages!

Really like the Hare. My nephew Steve lives in Napa Valley and does the gates you find on some wineries and homes. –Curt

I love sculptures and these are really lovely…I would have stopped because of the bunny too.

I’ve been to Sonoma, but have somehow missed Napa over the years…but if I went, I don’t think I could resist the pull of the rabbit.

We stopped by Sonoma for dinner on the way home. The little historic downtown square is really pretty and fun. You must visit Napa sometime. It really is a lovely place to visit. Thanks for the comment. Good to hear from you again.

I really haven’t been by in forever – apologies, and I won’t let it happen again!

Lovely sculptures indeed. The rabbit is my favourite. 🙂

All great photos…love the rabbit, who wouldn’t stop in there? Look for a hole to run down into! I used to “want” to like wine, to cultivate a taste for it, but I just never liked the stuff that much. But I did like some from Robert Mondavi back in the day of trying things out.

I do like wine but I prefer to not pay for tastings. I have a few go to inexpensive wines none of which are from Napa sadly.

Australian wines…have you tried Yellow Tail? Their champagne is truly wonderful, and cheap. You can buy it in Walmart!!!

I have had lots of their wine but not champagne!

I have a friend who doesn’t own a breadknife, but does own two champagne bottle stoppers. Try their champagne…if you like the bubbly!

And prison is so inconvenient. 👎

Gosh, no kidding. As much as being pampered and looked after sounds attractive I do prefer to retain my job and have my freedom. We will go with Uber.
