Here are a few wee whimsical doors from San Francisco Zoo and it’s marvelous botanical gardens. Enjoy but don’t bump your head.

Very sweet little doors. They remind me of the stories I made up for my daughter when she was small. 🙂

That’s awesome. I make up all kinds of stories for my son too and he can never get enough of them!

My daughter reminded me only yesterday of her favourite story about Susan in the woods. 🙂

Amazing, the number of bloggers who participate in the Thursday doors’ blogs. Tiny doors, tiny houses, and just possibly hobbits. Clever of the San Francisco Zoo. I haven’t been there in ages! –Curt

This was my first time if you can believe it. Didn’t go to the City much as a kid and I’m always busy doing other stuff when I go now. It was nice and not too busy. I have a post setup about it coming soon.

Looking forward to it. I did my Peace Corps training at SF State and escaped to the zoo a couple of times.

That’s very cute. In the English sense. Did little C. like the tiny doors?

He wasn’t terribly interested this time around actually. By the time I got to those he was mostly done with being at the Zoo and in desperate need of a nap. In another context I think he would have loved it and would have wanted me to tell him stories about the tiny people or animals or things that live there…

I guess it depends on the hour. Little G. Still takes a 2-hour nap at 2PM. 🙂 😴
