There were many surprises at the San Diego Zoo. But none as gloriously and feathered as the beautiful birds. Everywhere I went through the park I was surrounded by lovely birds each more interesting that the last. I have attached a few of my favorites either because they were unusual or because they had charachter and paid attention to little ol’ me. My grandmother and I have always taken offense when animal don’t like us or don’t pay attention to us. These feathered friends were very curious and as interested in me as I was in them.
