Whenever something brings me downtown it’s always fun to try and find some new murals. After a few years of the festival murals are everywhere ripe for the picking. Murals wrap every side of this building making it far more interesting than it likely was before! Do you have any good street art where you are?

Creepy! 🙂 But maybe it goes with the times now. Ate at the Fox and Goose this morning, one of my favorite restaurants of yore and wondered if it would still be open later in the week. I was in town from Oregon for our book club. –Curt

Awesome. I randomly just had breakfast there last week visiting a cousin who lives within walking distance. Love that place. Best scones and cream anywhere.

We had breakfast with my friend Tom Lovering who had owned a backpacking store, Alpine West, upstairs in the 70s and 80s. We were looking across at a booth where I had met on Tuesdays for a couple of years in the late 70s planning out the political strategy that led to Sacramento’s light rial system. Loved the food, and still do. 🙂

Lovely. Thank you Jenny. Fortunately, street art can still provide a diversion…
Personally, I plan to enjoy the lockdown. Bought a slide digital adapter to digitalize many slides I bought back from France and just ordered a machine to do the same with my mother’s 8 and super movies… 🙂
What do you have in mind?

Well thankfully I can still work which is not only a nice diversion but gives us all a break from each other. I have some art supplies for Colin. Perhaps some baking if I can find supplies I need like eggs which are not currently available. It would be nice to read and catch up on movies but Colin keeps me too busy.

I can imagine Colin does keep you busy. We had both grandkids at home today, and they demand constant attention. Good you can keep your mind busy. Stay safe.

Yes. He never stops. I took my computer outside this afternoon so he could hunt for worms and slugs while I worked. (His current favorite pastime)

Haha. Hopefully it will pass. Or he may become a world-renowned biologist.

Never know. He just loves being outside. So anything to do with nature and animals interests him. It’s been raining for the last week so worms have been around.
