This mural is at the top of an escalator outside the new Golden One Center. It is vivid and bright and cheerful and I love it. It’s more polished than some and my OCD side super appreciates the perfect lines. It is protected under cover and likely will be with us for some time which is great. Click here and let me know how it stands up to some of the other street art from this summer and previous years of the Wide Open Walls 916 street art festival.
Quite interesting 🙂

Geometric is a nice departure. My own art appreciation and knowledge is grounded in ‘does it have pretty colors’. 😎

Hi Jenny, that is an interesting pattern. Btw it’s good to know that you’re still active here. It’s been a long while, so I don’t know if you still remember me.

Sure. I remember you. Good to hear from you again. And glad you enjoyed the mural. There are lots more where those came from. Take care and be safe.

Glad you remember me! Hope to be in touch before I go out of active blogging again! I think I have seen some more of those murals in your other posts. Have you been travelling quite a lot lately?

No not really only locally. No flights and covid and a toddler are putting a damper on things. I am lucky to have a lot within driving distance and the murals have been a fun distraction too. Hoping to be able to take some trips maybe even road trips after the new year. We will see what happens with the virus.

Sure do. They have helped keep me sane during these weird times. How about you?

Well, I was travelling till the end of February when the world was not worried about the virus. At the same time someone offered me a job in a travel startup to help him with some content creation. Even without knowing what is in store for the coming months I said yes to the offer. It turned out to be a good decision. So I have work and an income coming during the lockdown and kept me occupied. In short, no travelling, but I’m busy. So all good.
